When a Seed Grows...

 it is quite exciting!

We have many seedlings popping up in our garden and

it is very rewarding after all our efforts setting up the

garden beds and planting seeds.

We have new basil and beetroot, radish, tomato, pumpkin, cucumber, 

coriander, carrot, lettuce, spinach...

 We decided to trial the half plastic bottle trick with some seedlings

and will see how it goes.

We haven't had much rain so we are using buckets of water from the dam 

along with some tank water to keep these new gardens going until the rains come.

 The toms are growing so fast.

 We have been eating fresh spinach leaves, bok choy, kale and lettuce from

our garden, but it isn't nearly enough as yet to provide all our meals, however

I expect we will gather a lovely Christmas meal from our backyard this year.
