Wonderful Watermelons

We have been enjoying our home grown, organic watermelons.
They are jucy and sweet, quite perfect.
We have two varieties, the first being a very light pinkish in colour, but ever so sweet.
The second has a darker green skin and darker red flesh, with plenty of juice.
We have eaten them, juiced them and perhaps will we try BBQ melon next.

I waited until the first tendril attached to the melon was dead
and then picked them, which seems to have worked well.
